Pipe Music at The Fort

Occasionally, in the early or late evening, you can hear pipe music wafting between the sounds of Route 15. Today, it was bavarian pipes played by a young man from UVM married student housing. At other times, there is a person playing scottish pipes. I have heard of irish & scottish pipes, but this was the first bavarian pipes I have encountered.

Great Music during our Fall Season here at the Fort. Wonderful.

Fort Ethan Allen Blog is Born!!

Hello All -

The Fort Ethan Allen Blog is born!

Basically, I intended for this blog to act as a nexus of information regarding the happenings, events, and people who live & work at Fort Ethan Allen in Colchester, Vermont USA.

"The Fort", as it is affectionately known by the locals, is an interesting, unique and diverse community in a far corner of Colchester Vermont. The Fort has a history and architecture dating back to the 1890s and is on the National Historic Register.

As I become more familar with the features and capabilities of "Blogging", this blog will grow, evolve and adapt.

...or...

It will just fade away and become part of the Internet's Great Compost Heap of fading bits, bytes, and blogs.
